Commercial Swimming Pools |
Commercial pools generally measure over 6 metres x 15 metres in size, are finished with ‘onsite liners’ or tiles and have filtration rates at 2 to 4 hours per turn around.
The same criteria applies to commercial pools as residential pools in that Isca Pools will specify the pool pipework, fittings, pump and filtration for a given pool size, but the following components need to be considered and specified by the client or their architect.
Method of the pool shell construction - steel panel, resin panel, reinforced concrete, hollow block & render or 9” block & render
Water line finish - skimmers, deck level or infinity
Pool finish - on site liner or tiles
Pool cover manual or powered floating solar cover, manual or powered floating slatted cover, manual or powered safety or even a manual or powered enclosure.
Pool heating gas, oil, electric, solar, air source heat pump or ground source heat pump
Pool Access ladder steps, Roman end steps or lined internal steps
Pool Lighting number of lights and colour of lights
Pool Sanitation Salt water chlorination, liquid chlorine, tablet / granular chlorine, bromine or oxygen
Pool Copingstones Sloping or flat top, white or coloured concrete or natural stone (e.g. Sandstone, Limestone, Slate, Basalt etc)
The above components relate to both outdoor and indoor pools, but the following will also need consideration if the pool is indoor.
Pool hall heating / dehumidification / ventilation - stand alone or integrated systems
Pool hall flooring - Tiled surface or rubber crumb surface.
Isca Pools can also advise on planning application and structural issues relating to swimming pools and their locations.
Isca Pools can also undertake landscaping after swimming pools have been built
Isca Pools have many satisfied customers across the area who are willing to allow us to use their pools as examples of our work.
